Upcoming Events

Well the season has started. I will be competing in eight national events this year. Before you get the next newsletter I will be traveling to Las Vegas for the Screaming Eagle Performance Las Vegas Nationals. The event takes place at Las Vegas Motor Speedway May 2-3. I am expecting to do well there. With the change in altitude it should drop my ET into the high ten second range, hopefully 10.90 exactly. Following this event I will be in Denver Colorado June 14-15. I will be in Houston Texas June 21-22. I will also be going to Seattle Washington June 28-29. Whew, June is one busy month! I am planning to get another newsletter out before I leave on my June tour, but in case I don't, remember that you can log onto the website for updates.

We have also been working frantically on the new motorcycle to hopefully get it on the racetrack this season. The hold up is the motor. We were working on a deal to get one donated but that fell through. JP responded by quickly ordering the parts so that he can get started on the new motor. In case you couldn't guess, it will be another shovelhead. JP's got a thing for the old stuff. The motor will be 106 inches with high performance cams and pistons. They motor will be mounted to our new custom Santee frame, thanks to Custom Chrome. The drive behind it all will be a 5 speed racing transmission thanks to Baker Drivetrain. We have an ultra light rear wheel with a 7 inch slick. We will also be getting a lock up assist clutch which will greatly improve my already quick reaction times. We can't wait to get this new motorcycle on the racetrack to see how it will perform, and to see how all of these quality performance parts will compliment each other. I just can't wait to go faster!

Until next time, wish me luck in Las Vegas! I am expecting to be very successful there. If all goes well I should be reporting good news in the next newsletter. Thank you all once again for your tremendous support for this program!
